This Gujarat tour package will cover breathtaking destinations filled with history, forts, palaces, culture and more. First stop will be Ahmedabad where you can visit two prominent museums of utensils and a textile museum. Then, you can head toward the Jambughoda National Park to be one with nature. After, a stay amid the wild, you can visit Gujarat’s Chhota Udaipur to observe the traditional lifestyle of the local.
Visiting Utelia, en route Champaner will take you to the bygone era witnessing the forts and ancient temples. Later, you can see the 2000 BCE ruins of Harappan Civilization in Lothal. The Gujarat tour does not end here just yet; a visit to one of the Jain religion places where you have to be fully committed to be a vegetarian is Palitana, a unique place in Gujarat. Here you can wander amid the huge complex of beautiful temples. Also, during this tour you can see a huge collection of Royal vintage cars in Naulakha palace, Gondal and a visit one of the largest museums in Gujarat, Watson Museum. If time permits, you can also drive towards the wildlife destination of Gir National Park and indulge in safaris to explore the many animal species this region posses.
Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Ahmedabad
As you exit from Ahmedabad airport, you will meet our representative. After the introduction, you will be driven to the selected hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Ahmedabad
After breakfast in the morning, visit the museum dedicated to only clothes – Calico Museum of Textiles. Here, you will be able to see a collection of textiles like the Indian silk (discovered in the archaeological sites in Egypt). Later, visit the two museum of utensils such as Sarkhej mausoleum complex and Vishala Village complex, this will be followed by an overnight stay at the hotel in Ahmedabad.
Day 3: Ahmedabad – Jambughoda (175 km / 4 hrs)
The next morning, you will be driven to Jambughoda after breakfast. On arrival, check-in at the selected hotel and rest. Around late afternoon, a jeep safari to Jambughoda Wildlife Sanctuary will be arranged. Here, you will be able to see some animal species like Wild Boar, Leopard, and Jackal. Return back to the hotel in Jambughoda for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Jambughoda – Chhota Udaipur – Jambughoda (one-way trip – 5 km / 1 ½ hrs)
On day 04, visit a small city which was earlier known as the Rewa Kantha, Chhota Udaipur of Gujarat. While here, go for a sightseeing tour around vibrant tribal villages, where you can observe traditional lifestyle of the locals. After an exploration return back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5: Jambughoda – Utelia (215 km / 4 ½ hrs)
In the morning after breakfast, you will be driven to Utelia en-route Champaner, which is a historical city of Gujarat and a UNESCO world heritage site. Here, expect to find wondrous architectural monuments like the Champaner Fort, Kalika Temple, Jama Masjid and more. Upon arrival at Utelia, check-in at the selected hotel.
Day 6: Utelia – Bhavnagar (104 km / 2 ½ hrs)
After breakfast, visit one of the most important sites of the Harappan Civilization, Lothal and witness the remains that dates back to 2000 BCE. Later, you will be driven to Bhavnagar. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and rest followed by a visit to few attractions like the Barton Museum and local market. This will be followed by an overnight stay.
Day 7: Bhavnagar – Palitana – Bhavnagar (60 km / 2 hrs)
The next day, you will be driven to Palitana (a religious destination for Jain religion) for a full day exploration. Here, you can visit a famous site – the Palitana Jain temples built during the 11th to 20th century. It is located on Mount Shatrunjaya and it houses around 863 marble-cut temples. After touring around the ‘city of temples,’ head back to Bhavnagar for an overnight stay.
Day 8: Bhavnagar – Gondal (165 km / 4 hrs)
On the 8th day of Gujarat tour, after breakfast, you can check out from the hotel in Bhavnagar and drive to Gondal. On arrival, check – in at the dedicated hotel and go for a scrumptious lunch at the premises. Later, a visit to Naulakha palace will be organized, here you can see a huge collection of vintage cars of the Gondal Royal Family. You can later return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 9: Gondal – Wankaner (100 km / 2 ½ hrs)
After an early breakfast, drive to a bygone Royal State of Gujarat, Wankaner. En-route, stop for a stretch and visit one of the largest museums of Gujarat, Watson Museum and Rashtriya Shala. Later, upon arrival at Wankaner, check-in at the hotel and rest. After, you can visit local attractions like the Wankaner Palace Museum and some other nearby villages to see their traditional lifestyle. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 10: Wankaner – Ahmedabad (210 km / 4 ½ hrs) – Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Ahmedabad airport for departure

Day 9: Gondal – Gir National Park (135 km / 3 ½ hrs)
On the 9th day of the tour, after early breakfast, check – out from Gondal and leave for Gir National Park. On arrival at the national park, check in at the wildlife resort and after settling in and lunch, you can go for a jungle safari to the national park followed by an overnight stay at the resort.
Gir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary
Gir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the best places for wildlife viewing covered in dry deciduous forests. It is a 1412 sq km hilly area mostly filled by lush grassland, streams and rivers. From the many water bodies in this park, the Kamleshwar Dam is famous and is widely known for its large crocodiles. Gir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary was protected by the Nawab of Junagadh.
Day 10: Gir National Park
On the 10th day, you can devote the entire day in jungle safari viewing the wondrous dense forest and wildlife. This will be followed by overnight stay at the resort. In Gir National Park, as per the official census, the park has around 300 lions and leopards each, this collection makes Gir one of the major big-cat concentrations in India. Within the premises, you can find other species also like blue bull (nilgai), chinkara (Indian gazelle), chousingha (four-horned antelope), spotted deer (chital). Other species existing in the park are wild boar thrive, jackal, jungle cat, striped hyena, porcupine, black-naped etc. Gir National Park also has a huge number of marsh crocodile or mugger. You can find about 40 species of reptiles and amphibians here. Also, there are around 250 birds and about 50 other species which also includes the endangered lesser florican and the sarus crane).
Day 11: Gir National Park – Wankaner
Leave for Wankaner after early breakfast en-route two attractions – Watson Museum and Rashtriya Shala. After excursion, continue your drive to Wankaner and check-in at the hotel after arrival. You can visit some local places like Wankaner Palace Museum and nearby villages, followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 12: Wankaner – Ahmedabad – Departure
Early morning, after breakfast, check-out from the hotel in Wankaner and head to Ahmedabad. On arriving, you will be taken to the airport to connect flights for your onward destination.
